The Son of Perdition

he thrives in darkness
stalking on heartless marches
to devour those souls
without control
leading them to a hole
bottomless where
the rottenest of beings dwell
which some call hell

his spell is subtle
to the point that often
a rebuttle is not offered
bcuz his coffer possess
more pleasures than treasures
stored in the vatican's vault

is it the African's fault for allowing
this spirit to roam the earth
as this demon raped the original
woman who gave birth to the seed
of this serpent who persists in deceiving
the world like a merchant selling
his product to consumers

or is it because of the european rumors
that spread like tumors as the accuser

to a level of insanity that carried

whatever the matter his time grows shorter
like the days when waters cleansed the earth
