Once Upon A Rhyme

once upon a rhyme before time ago
when emcees were divine with magnificent flow
there lived a spoken word who would sit in silence &
marvel over they way others opened their mouths with violence
it was an interesting scene that juxtaposed the craft
some would speak with joy but others opposed with wrath
the laws were eternal but still some rebelled
which is why 1/3 were cast out and to hell they fell
that's when the order of the kingdom was turned upside down
like a smile on a face that suddenly changes to a frown
the crown was dishearted by what had become
so he decided to send his only son, the chosen one
who came to the people to speak about the truth
but most didn't want hear his words they only wanted to pollute
the message that was sent from the early beginning
not realizing against the King they were in fact sinning
spinning out of control they're souls were in a daze
falling deeper into the whole which drove them all more crazed &
the haze from their ways soon blocked the sunlight
until the darkness was constant and nothing was done right
how come sights that we see don't agree with reality
they often wondered blind to the fact that they created a fallacy
that was all pervasive because of their denial
which was the reason that they were soon to experience their greatest trial
the judgment was set and soon approaching was the threat
that would wipe the slate clean so that planted was the next
generation of words spoken for the purpose of redemption
because every word that they spoken was with a malicious intention
so the judge found guilty those who spoke with an ill tongue &
sentenced the mouths to death as from stakes they were hung...
