Haiku: Blind Pockets (for Black Friday)

Consumer eclipse
Blinds pockets empty for the
Season. Sold out souls

Who make wishes to
Satan with clauses that binds
Their stocks on Wall Street's

Black Market. Friday.
Door busting deals. FBI
Like home invasions.

Warrantless searches
Down ailes of obsolete goods
From Wal-Mart sweat shops.

Billions spent during
Looming fiscal cliff despite
Oblivion's dawn

On the horizon.
Commercialization of
Society keeps

Prices high; simple
Supply and demand market
Principles at work.

Mammon's mystery
Divides spirits when children
Don't get everything

On their wish list, and
This is just one of the most
Wicked times of year

When expectations
Of gifts intoxicates those
Who revel during

A festival from
Rome's hypersexual course
Of idol worship

That today Christians
Call Christmas, which is really
Saturnalia

The winter solstice;
Worshipping Sol Invictus
The Unconqured Sun

God of the Pagan
Cult of Mithras, but now we
Say Merry Christmas
