Haiku: Writing/Righting

I paint word pictures
That speak in three hundred tongues
So all eyes can hear

The sound of truth clear
And see reality with
New ears free of wax.

Cleaning perceptions
With erasures, wiping all
Error images

Away until light
And darkness are positioned
Properly in place.

Still learning to
Trace masterpieces and craft
Original art,

I am becoming
The poet I've projected
Slowly but surely,

Editing my life
Like the pages of books I
Have produced and sold;

Not just performing
On stages but sharing my
Tales told with each poem

Bleeding life, birthing
Spirit, exorsizing flesh,
Overcoming death

With exhalations
Of breath that releases the
Essence of my soul;

Striving to glow as
A child of the Most High in
A wicked world that

Glorifies all the
Ills of society and
Mocks those who walk straight

And narrow paths. So
I boast in that I know my
Father and King,

He who reigns supreme
Over all things and brought forth
Creation with words.

See I spoke of Him
Before it became a fad
And laid my life bare

For all to see the
Struggles endured to again
become His image

On earth as it is
In Heaven. For my goal is
Resurrection, and

Nothing less than that
Will suffice. For until then
My goal is to write/right.
