Haiku: Rediscovering One's Hidden Nature. A Sabbath Reflection.

redefining self
is but rediscovering
one's hidden nature

buried beneath years
of dying in pursuit of
simple vanity.

for to live is what
few truly are able to
achieve in light of

the life that they lead;
misled by leaders of lead
headed decisions,

without vision, lost
in the maze of a dream, better
yet a spell that has

stolen the being
that exists within the mind
and replaced it with

a clone with no thoughts
of its own. Still some think
the invasion of

the body snatchers
is just science fiction when
souls get stole daily.

hence the need for change,
even rebirth; butterfly
like metamorphis

back to the image
and likeness in which we were
created; divine.

sublime, realigned
with the Mind behind space and
time; with sight, not blind

aware of signs, spine
with wings spread; yet able to
find rest on Sabbath

day and refresh breath
so that life overcomes death
and truth conquers lies

and light defeats dark
and the righteous subdue the
wicked and the earth

is restored back to its
original condition
when it was all good......

SHABBAT SHALOM!!!
