Haiku: Fade To The Righteous

.

The wicked shall soon
Fade away into utter
Forgetfulness and

Be no more like grass
That sprouts for a brief season,
Then withers in due

Time. It is written
That what shall be is what once
Was, and it will come

Back to its essence.
For there are lessons meant to
Instruct the simple

And turn them from the
Path that leads to death; still some
Heed not the message

That daily speaks truth
To their conscience which we all
Have placed in our hearts.

How the evil prey
On the innocent is as
A beast hunting weak

And wounded creatures
To fill their belly with the
Spoils of the kill.

Yet humanity
Is not subject to the laws
Of the jungle, for

We who are made in
The image and likeness of
Our Maker have been

Called to live greater
Than the beasts of the field and
The fowls of the air.

But still our nature
Despairs of its innate state
Of being, being that

Most refuse to draw
Close to the Host of all flesh
And spirits. Hear this

And know that we all
Have a choice, as what we choose
Comes from a voice found

Within. For men are
The sum totality of
Experiences,

And life is to be
Lived in the knowledge of light,
Not in ignorance.

Therefore, that which fades
Was never meant to be, while
Only that which is

Eternal is in
Truth reality. Righteous
Souls overcome death.
