Haiku: Hip Hop Zombies

Too many zombies
In the game and not enough
Consciousness; hip hop

Is not the same, it's
Like it's all incontinent
With no self control.

Wake up young world, we
Need you to raise the bar, know
You'll never shine from

Rocking bling, because
You were meant to be a star.
Not like Hollywood

Or those who play sports,
As you were called to lead the
World back to its course

Of life. The source is
Light but we're in the dark from
All these bubble gum

Wrappers who cover
Junk and garbage that's being
Consumed by minds blind

To the trappers that's
Behind the scenes with eyes all green
Selling dreams to teens

Unaware of schemes
The industry machine runs
On those without means;

And now like fiends for
Crack, most heads want tracks that lack
Substance but got 'em

High as a kite like
That white powder cooked to rocks
Which shocks the system

And blocks the wisdom
So now we got all kinds of
Heads locked in prison

Following these fake
Studio gangsters on the
Mic spittin poison

To the boys and girls
In the hood who can't tell the
Difference between truth

And fantasy. That's
Why I can't stand to see all
These suckas spittin

Genocide lyrics
On labels programming the
Hood for destruction...
