My quest for truth has
Brought me to this present place
Of trusting Torah
Above all other
Tenets. With it I have gained
Great insight into
Matters which before
I had no clue as to their
Intrinsic nature,
Most namely my own.
Spiritually I have grown
Leaps and bounds from where
I once stood, on sand
Unsupported by any
Sound principles which
Explained my errant
Ways. But now I am no more
Enslaved to my lusts,
All because I trust in
Something greater than myself
That has the power
To elevate me
Beyond mortality and
Corruption of flesh.
So with each breath I
Breathe, my understanding of
How to please my King
And Father grows more
Deep like the roots to the tree
Of life in heaven.
