there is ink and then there is blood;
when spilled both release the force of life.
what one thinks determines the below and above,
and the ability to writes takes one to new heights.
there are poems and then there are psalms,
both are the expression of a soul inspired.
there is sight and then there is vision; to calm
the mind they are given to those who have acquired
the level of a prophet in the form of a poet
which is a rare feat that few truly accomplish.
for words that are spoken from the mouth are potent &
have the power to establish as well as abolish
that which has been decreed by the beliefs of other men
which is the power that wielded to those who master the pen.
