"All power to the people, united will never be defeated!"
For the Panthers, the answer was collective struggle
and whether Black, White, Yellow, Red or Brown all mistreated
groups were tasting the bitterness of the same trouble.
The aim was to knock the hustle of corporate rule
with divestment from the system; then institute
alternative sources for public services and school
the masses properly to sharpen their senses acute
then refute the political misdirections of those seated in office
with a Ten Point Plan whose intent was on community
empowerment, based on constitutional rights in a lawless
system built on white supremacy that carried out injustice brutally.
And though Hoover did everything to make matters gluey
the pride of the Panther was instilled by the inspiration of Huey.
